Candida is a genus type of fungi or more specifically yeasts that occur naturally in the human body. However, one may end up with too much and create numerous problems in our health. When we think about or hear the word, “Candida”, it generally is thought of something being negative, of course, this is with due cause. Urinary tract infections, dry mouth, indigestion, lesions in the mouth are all symptoms of possible Candida issues. Although it can cause a lot of health issues, it’s important to note that this yeast is one that our body actually needs.
Candida assists the body with so many functions, but those are often overlooked.
