Healthy food – Fact byam

Every creature in this world requires food to survive. It also struggle to get food in good quantity and quality. In the same way human also struggle to get his food. He feels hungry when need food.In order to satisfy his hunger human consume food that he feels to be good and tasty. Many people around the world do the same thing.They usually eat food to feel their stomach and to enjoy the taste and flavours of .

But fact is that most of the food that they eat is not useful for their body. Food that we should eat should contain appropriate amount of useful nutrient as well as it should not harm our body. It should maintain our health.Thus healthy food is necessary to be consumed by everyone.

Healthy food is that diet or food that helps us to maintain and improve our health and remain disease free. Consumption of healthy food enriches us with useful nutrients that builds our physical and mental health.

Healthy food includes the balanced amount of good quality of fruits, vegetables, green and very less quantity of preservated and packaged food.

Along with consumption of healthy food exercise is necessary and it keeps away from diseases such as cardiovascular diseases and diabetes which arises due to over consumption of calories.
Various uses guides are available for consumption of healthy food provided by government medical institute and public health schools.

Following are the guidelines regarding the healthy food given by World Health organisation (WHO)

  1. Maintain healthy weight by eating approximate amount of calories that your body uses.
  2. Consume limited fats and replace saturated fats by unsaturated fats.
  3. Maintain proper amount of fruits and vegetables in diet.
  4. Intake of sugar should be in limit.
  5. Only iodised salt should be consumed but less than 5 grams of salt per day.

WHO says

  1. The food chosen should be nutritious and contains sufficient amount of vitamins and minerals.
  2. Avoid consumption of food containing poisonous and carcinogenic substances.
  3. Avoid food contaminated by human pathogens.
  4. Replace saturated fats with polysaturated fats in a diet, that will help us to reduce risk of coronary artery disease and diabetes.

Western pattern diet which is usually eaten by Americans and nowadays it is eaten by developing countries is unhealthy. This food includes red meat, dairy products and processed and artificially sweetened food and salts. This diet has very less consumption of fruits, vegetables, fish, legumes and whole grains. Such kind of unhealthy food can cause measure diseases.
In order to live healthy life healthy, natural but non-processed food and food free from toxins and poisonous fertilizers and enriched with nutrients should be consumed on daily basis along with proper exercise.

What our healthy diet should contain?

It is major question to maintain our healthy diet. Our healthy diet should contain balanced amount of vitamins, proteins, fats and carbohydrates. To contain these nutrients in our diet we should eat fresh fruits like apples, oranges, watermelon and many other local fruits. Our diet should contain green leafy vegetables and other vegetables like carrot, tomatoes, beetroot, raddish and dry fruits like almond, cashew, pista, walnut, etc. To fulfill the demand of protein in body one should contain proper amount of eggs, fish, meat, etc.

These items are important to have a healthy diet. All the vegetables and fruits and meat should be fresh. But when we buy vegetables and fruits from local markets their maybe chances of fertilizers on them. So after bringing them to home we should wash them properly so that’s the fertilizers on them gets washed away and it become safe for eating. We should prefer fruits and vegetables which are grown without fertilizers and pesticides.
