Bench Press or Dumbbell Press?

If you want to do bench press, you have the advantage of working with larger weights. However, since these large weights are operated by attaching to the bar, the end point of the movement is restricted. You can’t lower the bar lower than your chest height. However, this is not the case for dumbbell press. A dumbbell presser may not work with weights as big as bench presses, but he can stretch the movement a little further down the chest. Other than these, you are less likely to make mistakes in bench press than dumbbell press. Because the bench press bar can not go lower than chest height, you do not have a chance to put a load on your shoulders. This significantly reduces your risk of injury compared to dumbbell presses.
